International Medical Travel Show (IMTS) Dubai 2020
Southern TOHOKU BNCT Research Center Director Prof. Yoshihiro Takai, Clinic Director Dr. Katumi Hirose, and Southern TOHOKU Hospital Group Division of International Healthcare Services Chair Prof. Yujiro Handa attended International Medical Travel Show (IMTS) Dubai on February 2, 2020.
Prof. Takai was invited to give a talk in innovation session to promote BNCT treatment. Prof. Handa was invited as a discussant in discussion panel: Global medical tourism market overview: where we are and where we are heading. There are more than 50 buyers and facilitators from 20 countries to attend B2B meetings, which were well organized to connect us to facilitators in potential target markets.
Due to coronavirus outbreak, all international activities have been postponed. We will invite potential partners to Japan after assessing the situation globally.
