STGH certified as a training facility for intensive care specialists by the JSICM
Southern TOHOKU General Hospital (STGH) was certified by the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine (JSICM) as a training facility for intensive care specialists on October 1, 2022. Following Fukushima Medical University Hospital, STGH becomes the second hospital to be certified in the Fukushima Prefecture.
Our hospital will accept physicians with a goal of obtaining a new specialist qualification in intensive care and provide them educational guidance. The facility manager is Dr. Takahiro Hiruma, Director of Dept. of Emergency Intensive Care of STGH. This certification is valid for five years till Sep. 30, 2027 (to be renewed thereafter).
