Shinto prayer ceremony for safety after final surgical session of year 2020
On the last working day of 2020, a shinto prayer ceremony was taken place in Southern TOHOKU General Hospital to give thanks for kami’s protection and to pray for hospital safety in the future.
The Founder and Chairman of the Board Dr. Kazuo Watanabe, Superintendent Dr. Yasushi Teranishi, Nursing Director Ms. Mutsuko Kubo, Executive Management Director Mr. Fumihiro Watanabe, and 40 staff members attended the ceremony in the entrance hall of operation theater.
Dr. Kazuo Watanabe appreciated everyone’s efforts to complete all surgeries without incidents during COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Yasushi Teranishi exhorted the medical staff to commit ensuring patient safety next year.
