Taiwan’s former President Mr. Teng-Hui Lee visited Southern TOHOKU BNCT Research Center to see the newest and most advanced accelerator-based BNCT facility in the world on July 24 2015 in Koriyama, Japan. Founder and Chairman of the Board of Southern TOHOKU Hospital Group Dr. Kazuo Watanebe and his senior executives greeted Mr. Lee in BNCT Research Center and attended a lunch meeting. During briefing, Mr. Lee expressed that he personally hopes to build a collaborative bridge between Taiwan and Japan toward patient-centric and adaptive cancer treatments and expects that Taiwan can learn this new cancer treatment technology once it becomes more skilled in the future.
