Southern TOHOKU General Hospital was granted Japanese International Hospitals (JIH) accreditation on December 14, 2016. There are 28 hospitals accredited by Medical Excellence JAPAN (MEJ). MEJ was established with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to promote the globalization of Japan’s medical services.

JIH is an initiative to provide useful information to international patients who seek high-quality and safe medical services in Japan.
