The Kazuo Watanabe Memorial Scholarship
Southern TOHOKU Hospital Group (STHG) has established a scholarship program to assist medical students from Fukushima Prefecture who are studying in medical schools in Japan and have financial hardship. The study fund is to support young medical students with incredible potential who are willing to contribute to the medical development and the improvement of regional healthcare. The exemption will apply to students who apply for their first jobs as physicians or researchers at Southern TOHOKU Hospital Group after their graduation.

Over the years, STHG is committed to giving back to our community and making a positive social contribution. The Kazuo Watanabe Memorial Scholarship is a great way to practice our Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) in fostering healthcare sustainability and the quality of patient care.
