Southern TOHOKU Hospital Group (STHG) started in 1981 from a 60-bed Neurosurgical Hospital. Since being found, our development philosophy is based on “all for patients”. To date, we have 8 major hospitals and more than 100 medical, long-term care and welfare affiliates in our group with a total of over 3,000 beds.

All medical affiliates of STHG continue providing a wide range of medical services that meet global standards for quality of care. STHG has been held in high esteem for employee’s performance, such as excellent skill, integrity, and refreshing attitude.

In recent years, Southern TOHOKU Proton Therapy Center was opened as the cutting-edge medical center. Thereafter Southern TOHOKU Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) Research Center was established to serve as a regional and international cancer center.

We strive to become a medical hub in Asia and around the world and put the aforesaid advanced medical facilities first.
