Established on April 1, 2007, Tokyo General Health and Welfare Center Egota-no-Mori has become the largest complex in Japan under the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project conducted by Nakano-ku of Tokyo and Southern TOHOKU Hospital Group (STHG). Our center is managed by Southern TOHOKU Welfare Foundation, which engages in the care and support for the elderly, persons with disabilities and children, mainly in eastern Japan.

Services of inpatient, outpatient and home-visit are seamlessly off¬ered to the elderly and users with disabilities. We also provide medical, educational, phycological, and social rehabilitation training services to improve the independence, quality of life and self-fulfillment of users. We respect users’ self-determination and choices to provide emotional support.

Tokyo General Hospital, an affiliate of STHG, is nearby o¬ffering a wide range of medical services to the communities. Also, we continue to introduce the latest care technologies and practices to enhance employees’ expertise and knowledge. We ensure the safety and security in order that the elderly and persons with disabilities can live in a familiar community where they are accustomed to living.
