Dr. Sadayoshi Watanabe
Superintendent
Tokyo General Hospital

Tokyo General Hospital is located within a 10-minute train ride from sub-CBD (central business district) of Shinjuku. The Egota-no-Mori Park is situated north of our hospital offering an environment with peaceful and soothing ambiance.

Eleven years have been elapsed since our grand opening in 2010. Our hospital purchased 6,000 square meters of land to build a new Advanced Medical Care Building that features Stroke Center, Cardiology Center, Emergency Center, Rehabilitation Center, and Radiation Therapy Center to house acute care, highly specialized care, and intensive rehabilitation service. In addition, we actively introduce state-of-the-art radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging equipment to deliver the best treatment to patients.

In order to fulfill the role as a major regional hospital, we invest in not only medical equipment, but also human resource development. Our hospital is designated as a post-graduate clinical training hospital by Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare and a training facility by various academic medical societies respectively.

Our hospital philosophy is based on “all for patients”. We aim to be a general hospital trusted by the communities.
